Overview
AI 창작물의 출처를 명확히 한다.
Generative AI is producing content at unprecedented scale, but there's no standard way to prove who made something, when, or how. This ambiguity creates a bottleneck: brands, platforms, and rights holders can't confidently license or distribute AI content without clear provenance.
생성형 AI는 전례 없는 속도로 콘텐츠를 만들어내지만, 누가, 언제, 어떻게 만들었는지 증명할 표준 방법이 없습니다. 이 불확실성이 병목이 되어, 브랜드·플랫폼·저작권자가 AI 콘텐츠를 신뢰하고 라이선스·유통하기 어렵게 만듭니다.
Immutable creation record
Each piece of AI-generated work is timestamped and linked to its creator's wallet at the moment of creation — permanently, on-chain.
Generation metadata
The model, prompt hash, and generation parameters are recorded as part of the provenance record — without exposing proprietary prompt details publicly.
Commercial-ready certification
A verified provenance record becomes the basis for licensing, resale, and revenue-sharing agreements across TMC's other initiatives.

Generate
생성
A creator generates AI content through a TMC platform — an image, character, or media asset produced by a generative model.
Hash & Record

The output is hashed along with generation metadata — model, timestamp, creator wallet — and written to the Provenance Protocol contract.
Mint Certificate
인증서 발행
A soulbound NFT certificate is minted to the creator's wallet, serving as permanent proof of authorship and origin.
License & Distribute
라이선스 · 유통
The certified work can now be commercially licensed, traded, or used as the basis for Digitainer Network assets — with provenance always traceable.

EVM compatible.
Provenance Protocol may certify a very high volume of generated assets — low gas costs on Polygon make per-asset certification economically viable. EVM compatibility also lets certified assets feed directly into Digitainer Network and Stage Pass.
Base와의 EVM 호환성을 활용해, 향후 Coinbase 생태계 기반의 결제·온보딩 채널로 확장하는 것을 옵션으로 검토하고 있습니다.
Standard
ERC-721 soulbound (non-transferable) certificate tokens — provenance is tied to the original creator, not tradeable separately from the asset.
Metadata
Each token's tokenURI stores a content hash, generation timestamp, model identifier, and creator wallet address.
Hashing
Output content is hashed off-chain (keccak256) before being committed — the original file never needs to be stored on-chain.
Issuer Control
Certificates are minted by TMC Collective's gasless server-side wallet on behalf of creators — no wallet setup required to receive a certificate.
Verification
Anyone can verify a certificate by checking ownerOf(tokenId) and comparing the stored content hash against the asset in question.
Cross-Protocol Link
A certified provenance token ID can be referenced as a prerequisite when minting Digitainer Network or Stage Pass assets derived from the same work.
